On preliminary study for the DPR preparation, it is observed that, for the proper completion of the work and to serve the proposed road as a proper bypass to NH 766, additional stretch from Padanilam to Undodikkadavu& from Pandaraparambu to Karanthur also is to be taken up. This was reported to government and requested to accord revised AS to execute the work in 3 phases. Government have directed to submit a detailed concept report indicating the approximate cost for each phase and we had submitted the same.
Government directed RBDCK to submit cost benefit analysis. Vide letter dated 20.02.2021, RBDCK informed that, we had conducted only the preliminary study and after getting permission from Government, RBDCK will conduct detailed study to calculate the benefits of the project. Currently, awaiting reply from Government. Secretary PWD enquired some clarifications on 04.12.2021 and reply was submitted on 05.01.2022.
Meeting was convened by additional CEO KIIFB in the presence of MLA Kunnamangalam, in the meeting it was decided that Add. CEO KIIFB will discuss the matter with Secretary PWD. Currently, awaiting reply from Government. A meeting was convened by KIIFB on 13/06/2024. ED- KIIFB informed that since the work is planned to be proposed by NH with improved specification, it is decided to drop the project from KIIFB funding and informed that project may be executed through PWD- NH. |
