DPR approved by KIIFB on 19.03.2018 for an amount of Rs.45.67 Cr. GAD approved on 31.07.2023. MOU with RBDCK and Railways was executed.
Tender invited on 06.07.2024. No Bid received. Re-tender invited on 04.09.2024 and 2 bids received. Since the quoted amount is 23.90 % higher than the estimate amount and 0.001% lower than LMR amount, RBDCK requested tender approval from the Secretary, PWD on 29.01.2025 and 16.04.2025. The Government has directed to retender the work on 13.05.2025.
Vide GO(Rt)No. 47/2025/FIN dated 11.04.2025 goverment issued orders for acceptance of bid where estimate is prepared SoR prior to the Introduction of DSoR 2021, but tender procedures are finalised after the applicability of DSoR 2021. Based on this negotiation letter sent to bidder on 10.06.2025. The contractor has reduced amount. Now the quoted amount is below the DSoR 2021+10% and LMR. Tender Acceptance Committee has decided to award the work to M/s GM Engineers & Contractors and M/s Eagle Earth Movers Pvt. Ltd. (JV) at the negotiated amount of Rs. 43,13,09,215/- (excluding GST). LOA issued to bidder on 08.08.2025. Agreement executed on 29.09.2025. |
