KIIFB approved on 09.11.2018 for an amount of Rs. 37.96 Cr.
Boundary stone laying was completed on 20.03.2022. Joint inspection conducted. 4(1) notification published on 30.05.2022. As requested by LAO, additional stones were planted and joint inspection conducted on 01.07.2022. 11(1) notification published on 12.01.2023.
Meanwhile, MLA and Local body representatives informed the willingness of the land owners for the advance possession and directed to proceed with Tendering procedures to avoid the delay. Hence, the work was tendered on 27.01.2024. Issued LOA to BAAB construction on 04.09.2024.
Parallelly LA work were proceeding on the other side. Vide letter B1/283/2019 dated 27/06/2024 fund request from LAO has received. Subproject for amount 39.42 Cr was approved in the KIIFB portal. LA cost received from KIIFB and the same has been remitted to LAO Koyilandy. Although all land owners initially provided consent for construction and its related works on the land to be acquired, later raised objection.
LAO Koyilandy vide letter dated 15.02.2025 has requested for an Additional amount of Rs 46,46,000.00/- (15,76,879.00 + 30,69,121.00) the same is remitted to LAO Koyilandy. 19(1) published on 07.02.2025.
Initial survey work has started on 01.05.2025. NTP is issued to the contractors on 24.04.2025. Accordingly initial survey works completed and initial levels submitted to KIIFB through KPFMS portal. Clearing and grubbing works completed. Initial construction works started. Dr. K. Balan, Senior Geotechnical advisor of KIIFB instructed RITES to review the site." |
