DPR approved by KIIFB on 09.11.2018 for an amount of Rs.38.2 Cr.
LA requisition submitted to District Collector, Palakkad on 15.01.2019. Stone planting work was completed on 06.04.2022 and joint inspection was conducted on 27.04.2022. SIA study completed for missing survey numbers and public hearing completed. SIA report submitted to DC on 28.07.2022. 11(1) notification published on 30.09.2022. Fund request for LA was received on 16/09/2023.
As the proposed alignment is passing through the side of Irrigation canal, RBDCK requested NOC from Executive Engineer, Irrigation Division, Malampuzha vide letter no RBDCK/ T216/Vol I/ 1246 dated 01.07.2020. However, the Executive Engineer of the Irrigation Department, Malampuzha, sent a letter to the Superintending Engineer of the Irrigation Department declining the NOC, dated 01.06.2024. RBDCK then submitted a letter to the Superintending Engineer of the Irrigation Department, via letter no. RBDCK/T216 Vol 1/1271, dated 05.06.2024, requesting reconsideration of our NOC. Joint inspection conducted with RBDCK, Irrigation department, KWA on 27.11.2024. During the inspection, it was decided to take the necessary steps to construct the bypass without affecting the conduit canal. Accordingly, we have prepared revised drawing to irrigation department for review on 20.02.2025. |
