Current status DPR approved by KIIFB on 07.02.2020 for an amount of Rs.46.57 Cr. LA to be taken up after getting approval of GAD from railways. At the same time, Railways constructed an underpass at the same location and the Railway gate is already closed. Pointing out that, Hon. MLA recommended holding the project until necessary decision is taken. Hon. MLA directed to cancel the project on 22.08.2022 at Thalassery CMT meeting. Informed the same to GoK on 27.01.2023. On 21.02.2023 KIIFB also recommended GoK to exclude the project from KIIFB funding. Accordingly on 20.04.2023 GoK exclude the work from the GO dated 19.04.2018.
