Since the proposed ROB is very near to the Balaramapuram Railway Station, the Alignment can be finalized only after getting approval of GAD from Railways.
Joint inspection was conducted with Railways and GAD was submitted to Railways. Since KRCL has submitted a proposal for Railway line, Railways directed to get approval of GAD from KRCL. GAD Submitted to Railways on 07.02.2022. But KRCL on 16.02.2021, advised some changes in the GAD. Railways also directed to change span configuration. GAD was prepared and submitted to KRCL for concurrence on 21.05.2022. KRCL informed their concurrence and requested to submit the same to Southern Railway for their approval on 31.05.2022. GAD submitted to Railways on 10.06.2022. The GAD had returned by Railway for corrections on 11.07.2022. After corrections, RBDCK submitted the GAD to Railways for approval on 22.08.2022. But Railway had returned the GAD for some correction and the same was submitted to Railways on 14.03.2023. Vide letter dated 10.04.2023 Railways informed that the processing of GAD will be done only after finalisation of Yard Plan at Balaramapuram. On 19.09.2023, railways had returned the GAD with certain comments. Revised GAD submitted and corrections were again intimated on 11.12.2023. Revised GAD submitted to Railways on 05.01.2024 |
