A meeting was convened by VSCC in presence of MLA, EICL and Counsellors on 24.12.2022 and another meeting was conducted with VSCC and EICL on 27.12.2022. It was decided to proceed with small modification in the alignment proposed.
RBDCK appointed M/s RITES for DPR preparation on 17.03.2023 & GAD submitted to Railways on 10/11/2023 for approval. Joint inspection as requested by Railways conducted on 11/03/2024. Railways informed that GAD may be considered only after completing the feasibility study for increasing sectional speed. During the review meeting by CAO & CE RSP on 08.10.2024 it was decided to conduct a site visit prior to the submission of GAD.
On 18.10.2024, RBDCK had requested CE/RSP for a tentative date for Joint site Inspection and site inspection conducted on 18.11.2024. GAD revised as per the minutes of meeting was submitted to Railways on 11.02.2025. After several revisions, the GAD was resubmitted to Railways on 29.07.2025. In principle approval obtained for DPR and Land acquisition and the DPR preparation work is currently in progress. |
