Current status The Letter of Acceptance (LOA) was issued to M/s KITCO for alignment study and DPR preparation on 30.12.2021. The finalization of the alignment was delayed due to the Semi High Speed Rail Project of KRDCL and the finalization of the 3rd line between Ernakulam and Shornur. The alignment of the 3rd and 4th lines has now been received from the Railways. The GAD and alignment preparation is currently in progress by KITCO, and they have agreed to submit the alignment report by 26.05.2026.
