Work is divided into 2 parts. First part is the drawing of 110KV line from Kalamassery Substation to CUSAT Substation. It is proposed to execute the work as deposit work by KSEBL. KSEBL had submitted the estimate for an amount of Rs.392.54 Lakhs. KIIFB had approved the estimate amount and was deposited to KSEBL on 22.09.2022. KSEBL had requested for additional fund of Rs. 17 lakhs for some works not included in the above estimate and the same was deposited to KSEBL on 19.02.2024. KSEB has completed the tower erection and line & optical fibre cable stringing works up to gantry of CUSAT substation end and the KSEBL works are almost complete.
Second part is the construction of 110KV Substation. Agreement was executed with M/s Siemens Ltd. on 24.12.2021 for an amount of Rs. 15,95,09,848 and NTP was issued on 03.01.2022. Duration of the project is 15 months.
The works for the construction of 110/ 11kV S/S is completed by M/s Siemens by end of January 2024 and the commissioning works can be completed only after energisation of the 110 kV line from 220 kV S/S Kalamassery by KSEB Ltd.
Now action is being taken by CUSAT to execute the O & M agreement with Deputy CE(Trsmsn) Kalamassery, Undertaking with CE ( Trmsn South) and supply agreement with CE( Distrbtn- Central) for charging the line to Substation.
Meanwhile in the meeting conducted by Chief Engineer (Distribution Central) KSEBL, on 14/11/2024, it was informed that for executing the connection agreement with CUSAT, the test report -from the NABL accredited testing agency- of metering CTs and VTs (for KSEB Tariff), submitted is not acceptable to KSEBL as the ratio error of CTs inconsistent and requested to replace the CTs. Accordingly RBDCK has directed Siemens to replace CT immediately. |
