DPR approved on 16.12.2017 for an amount of Rs.133.24 Cr. LA requisition submitted to Dt. Collector Ernakulam on 22.02.2018. Based on Hon'ble High court order for WP(C) 2451/2019, Government issued a GO (Rt) No. 1343/2019/PWD dtd 18.11.2019 to construct flyover over the PP road junction. Hence it was decided to execute the work in 2 phases to avoid the delay of work and KIIFB has approved to execute the projects in two phases. Revised DPR submitted to KIIFB for approval on 13.10.2020. KIIFB approved the DPR on 26.03.2022 for Rs.301.71 Crores.
Phase I (CH 2.730km to CH 3.760km) : Land taken possession completed on 19.08.2023. Tender invited on 25.08.2023 and the same was opened on 07.10.2023. Two bids received. But one bidder did not qualify the technical bid. As this is the first tender, single bid could not be accepted. Hence work re-tendered on 3/11/2023. Technical bid opened on 15.12.2023. Financila bid opened on 10.01.2024. Request for negotiated was send to lowest quoted contractor M/s Rajest Mathew & Company on 10.01.2024. They have submitted the negotiated estimate on 23.01.2024. LOA issued on 01.02.2024.
Phase II : During the site inspection with KIIFB, RBDCK & KITCO on 20.07.2022. KIIFB has raised some recommendations in the earlier approved alignment. Compliance to the site visit report is also submitted to KIIFB on 25.10.2022. Topographic survey completed and submitted to NATPAC. Now design and alignment review are under progressing from NATPAC. After finalizing the above, LA requisition will be submitted."
