DPR approved on 22.05.2018 for an amount of Rs.30.56 Cr. LA requisition submitted on 12.07.2018. 11(1) notification published on 16.07.2020. LA fund request was received from LAO on 11.03.2022 and uploaded in KIIFB portal. KIIFB directed to limit the 12% increase to 6 months and the revised proceeding uploaded to KIIFB portal on 30.03.2022. Revised LA fund request received from the LAO on 18.03.2022 and fund released on 08.04.2022. Requisition for acquiring additional land as per Railway's direction was submitted to DC, Kottayam on 23.04.2022. Stone planting completed on 07.05.2022. Joint site inspection with Special Tahsildar conducted on 08.06.2022. 19(1) declaration published on 14.07.2022. DVS approved by DC. Request for balance cost of Rs. 10,81,655/- submitted to KIIFB on 22.10.2022. Fund received from KIIFB and released to LAO.
GAD approved by Railways on 02.03.2023.
Meanwhile, WP(C) No. 18680 of 2021 filed by K.J James and others challenging the 11(1) notification and entire land acquisition proceedings. The Hon'ble High court had passed an interim order on 13.10.2021 in which a direction was issued to Indian Railways not to take any further action without orders from this court.
Award passed for 61 cases out of 68. Remaining cases pending due to WP(C) 18680/2021. |
