DPR approved by KIIFB on 26.10.2018 for an amount of Rs.31.042 Cr.
Revised requisition including new survey numbers submitted to DC and LAO on 18.08.2020. 4(1) notification published on 26.08.2020. 11(1) Notification published on 26.10.2021. 19(1) published on 04.04.2023. GAD was already approved. But now the Project comes under 3rd line alignment. Vide letter dated 11.07.2022, Railway informed that GAD of ROB’s between Ernakulam and Shornur will be approved only after finalization of 3rd line. Award enquiry put on hold by Hon. Revenue Minister as the works falls in 3rd line alignment.
During the meeting held on 26/10/2023 in the presence of Hon'ble Revenue Minister, Railway informed that they will issue NOC for continuing Land Acquisition. On 3/11/2023, Railway issued NOC and hence RBDCK requested District Collector to continue the Land Acquisition vide our letter dated 07/11/2023. LA nearing completion. As directed by Railways modified GAD submitted to Railways on 16.11.2023. Final GAD after incorporating the comments from Railways submitted on 09.01.2024. Awaiting approval of GAD from Railways. |
