Work was tendered on 17.03.2020. None of the bidders had qualified and work was retendered on 31.10.2020. Due to Model code of conduct, it was not possible to issue LOA to lowest bidder. Meanwhile bid validity expired and the lowest bidder was not willing to extend the bid validity. Hence the work is to be retendered.
It was proposed to install the solar panels in the roof top of existing building at CUSAT and some panels were planned to install in the roof top of Academic building included in Package 1 project. Since the work of academic building was terminated on 2021, the solar project was kept on hold. Also the completion of the 110kV GIS Substation was necessary for providing a single bidirectional metering (net metering) since earlier was 3 nos 11kV Substations for CUSAT
As the 110kV substation project is now in its commissioning stage, it is the right time for the execution of solar project and CUSAT has requested to check possibility of utilizing suitable buildings other than the academic building which is on hold for facilitating implementation of Package IV. Hence the new proposal is prepared and submitted to KIIFB for approval on 06.06.2024. On 20.08.2024, KIIFB had directed to submit detailed report and drawings with an addendum DPR. Addendum DPR is prepared and submitted to KIIFB for approval.
On 20.08.2024 KIIFB has requested to submit a detailed report and drawings along with an addendum DPR in package through PFMS portal for the implementation of Solar Photo Voltaic System of 650kWp capacity at CUSAT campus. Accordingly addendum DPR is prepared and in order to create the Package for the solar project, subproject amount has to be revised and request for subproject revision has submitted to KIIFB through PFMS portal on 15.10.2024. On 28/02/2025 KIIFB in formed that Swimming pool is deferred from the scope of KIIFB and revision is not necessary and requested to submit a fresh package for solar works. Request for negative deviation for Swimming pool project submitted to KIIFB on 03/04/2025. After obtaining approval from KIIFB, addendum DPR of solar project will be submitted to KIIFB. |
