DPR approved by KIIFB on 16.05.2017 for an amount of Rs.19.6 Cr. The major part of the land required was earlier acquired by Railways. Railway granted permission to RBDCK to carry out work at acquired railway land only on 27.02.2023. GAD approved by Railways on 13.01.2023. Estimate revised based on Revised GAD and requested CE bridges and CE design to inform us a convenient date to convene TS Committee on 04.08.2023. CE Bridges submitted some observations in the submitted estimate and reply for the same was submitted to CE on 21.09.2023. In the Technical Sanction Committee for the Kottikulam ROB held on 16.10.2023 CE Bridges directed to submit the estimate incorporating the comments with signed drawings and the same was submitted on 16.10.2023. Again CE Bridges has raised some observations & compliance for the same was submitted back on 01.11.2023. TS committee again held on 06.11.2023 and TS sanctioned. Meanwhile, joint site inspection with KSEB, KWA & BSNL was conducted on 25.10.2023 for utility shifting estimates.
The TS committee held on 06.11.2023 and TS issued for the work amounting to Rs. 17,39,00,298.37/-. The amount required for the proper completion of the project is Rs.19,60,00,000.00(Construction + Utility shifting + LA cost) is within the approved limit. Hence, request will be submitted to KIIFB for the permission to tender the work. And also requested to vary the package on 21.12.2023. KIIFB approved the TS on 01.02.2024. Inaugrated on 14.11.2023. The work tendered on 17/02/2024. Last date of bid submission is extended to 02.05.2024.
Additional land to be acquired to suit the Revised GAD of Railways and the process for the same are under progress. Revised requisition submitted on 15.06.2023. Boundary stone planting completed and joint inspection conducted. SIA agenty appointed. |
