Work Progress Details
Current status DPR approved by KIIFB on 27.07.2017 for an amount of Rs. 37.71 Crores. Modified LA requisition submitted to Dt. Collector Thrissur on 01.11.2019. Land taken possession completed on 14.09.2022. Final GAD submitted to Railways on 22.02.2022. Vide letter dated 11.07.2022, Railway informed that GAD of ROB’s between Ernakulam and Shornur will be approved only after finalization of 3rd line. Revised GAD approved by Railways on 28.11.2024. TS committee approved estimate & accorded TS on 31.01.2025. Revised FS issued by KIIFB on 10.04.2025. The work was tendered on 27.05.2025. Technical bid opened on 15.07.2025 and retendered on 06.11.2025. Retender opened on 20.12.2025. Technical evaluation is in progress. Financial bid opened on 08.01.2026. Since the bid amount 17.43 % higher than estimated PAC and 10.82% higher than current CMR. Retendered on 31.01.2026.
