KIIFB approved DPR for Melechovva Underpass on 20.01.2018 for an amount of Rs.27.59 Cr. NOC obtained from NHAI on 12.10.2021. The entire land (57.45Cents) was taken possession on 20.12.2021.
The work was tendered on 23.02.2024, and the technical bid was opened on 18.04.2024, receiving a single bid. The work was retendered on 12.06.2024, and the pre-qualification bid was opened on 02.08.2024. After evaluation, the tender committee meeting was conducted on 11.09.2024, and the financial bid was opened on 12.09.2024, with M/s ULCCS quoting the lowest amount (24.54 crores + GST). Revised LOA issued on 27.11.2024. Agreement was executed on 21.01.2025. NTP issued on 03.02.2025. Geotechnical investigation started on 27.02.2025 for design work. Plan & Profile and GAD approved. ULCCS submitted design to RITES for approval on 20.05.2025.Tree cutting permission from tree committee obtained on 22-05-2025. Valuation of above trees completed and approved on 23-06-2025 . Test pile work started at site on 20-06-2026 .The design proof check process is currently in progress. ULCCS Submitted the Design Basis Report on 04.06.2025 and RITES gave principal approval for the same on 21-06-2025.
In parallel, a requisition for additional land for the flyover was submitted to the District Collector. Boundary stone planting was completed, and a joint inspection was conducted on 27.07.2024. KIIFB and the Tahsildar submitted a feasibility report on 23.09.2024. Revenue AS received on 05.04.2025. SIA public hearing conducted on 23.01.2025. 11(1) notification published on 24.05.2025. Sub division records and BVR preparation is in progress. |
